MA-4 Congressional Candidate Jake Auchincloss Raises $609,000+ in Q4
Since Announcing Run for Congress in October, Auchincloss Has Been Endorsed By 40+ Newton Elected Officials & Community Leaders, Released Transportation Plan for MA, and Called for Bold Action on Gun Safety
MASSACHUSETTS – Massachusetts 4th District Congressional Candidate Jake Auchincloss raised more than $609,000 in the fourth quarter of 2019, his first quarter since announcing his run for Congress on October 3rd. Nearly three-quarters (70 percent) of contributions to Auchincloss’s campaign came from within Massachusetts. All contributions received are for

Auchincloss’s fundraising numbers come at the end of a strong quarter since announcing his campaign.

Auchincloss was endorsed by 40+ Newton elected officials and community leaders, including the President-elect and Vice President-elect of the Newton City Council, and the Chair, Vice Chair, and Vice Chair-elect of the Newton School Committee.
Auchincloss released a roadmap to reinvent transportation in Massachusetts using the Green New Deal. The plan was lauded by transportation advocates.
Auchincloss called for Congress to take bold action on gun safety, including a mandatory assault weapons buyback and mandatory liability insurance for all weapons.

About Jake:
Jake Auchincloss is running to represent Massachusetts’ Fourth District in Congress.
After graduating from college, Jake joined the Marines and commanded an infantry platoon in Afghanistan and a multi-national special operations mission to Panama.
Back home, Jake has continued service as a city councilor in Newton, where he graduated from the public schools. Jake's positive, thoughtful leadership over two terms, especially on transportation and the environment, earned him re-election to a third term this November.
In the private sector, Jake has worked on transportation as a manager at a Fortune 100 innovation lab in Boston and on cybersecurity at a startup. He holds degrees in finance and economics from MIT Sloan and Harvard College.
