Confronting COVID-19

Right now, public health is our priority. As such, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of resources that you can rely on for information and support. While these months have been challenging, we’re doing the work to ensure the health and safety of our neighbors and communities. Our community is strong, and we’ll get through this together. Stay well, and be sure to reach out if there’s any way we can support you in this time.

POLICY

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, my priorities have shifted to meet the moment. My priorities in Washington:

First, I will protect our kids and our families. Republicans are obstructing the federal aid we need for public schools, while kids and parents and teachers have already been asked to sacrifice so much. I will fight to make sure our schools don’t lose a dime and our kids don’t lose a year.

Second, I will work to ensure that healthcare is available and affordable to all, including our seniors, who are so vulnerable right now. A pandemic is exactly the time to finally ensure that healthcare is a human right, not a job perk, that no senior citizen struggles to pay for the drugs they need, and that every woman controls her own reproductive decisions.

Finally, I will be a champion for jobs and a green economic recovery. I understand what it will take to get back on our feet. Already, I’ve partnered with state officials to propose a roadmap for recovery based on life sciences manufacturing, which is creating good jobs here in Massachusetts. I’m committed to providing comprehensive aid to businesses, families, and individuals struggling with the economic ramifications of the COVID-19 crisis. In considering our path forward, I will focus on helping working families, supporting local governments, providing aid to underserved children, and propping up small businesses. We will build a greener, more inclusive economy.

I’m running for Congress to bring strong leadership, collaboration, and service to Washington. We’re in crisis now, but we will get through this together.
