National Association of Government Employees (NAGE) Endorses Jake Auchincloss for Congress

MASSACHUSETTS — Newton City Councilor Jake Auchincloss has been endorsed by the National Association of Government Employees (NAGE) in his campaign for Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional Seat. Jake is the first candidate in MA-04 to announce a labor endorsement. NAGE, a union comprised of both public and private workers, aims to improve the lives of working women and men, and their families, through economic security, dignity, and respect. NAGE represents over 22,000 people across Massachusetts.

“On the City Council, Jake has fought for the values of working people: great public education, reducing income inequality, and making communities more sustainable,” said NAGE National President David J. Holway. “I know Jake will take those values with him when he represents the Massachusetts’ 4th District in Congress.”

Jake says: “NAGE represents the essential workers in our cities and towns—those who keep us safe and those who ensure the functioning of our governments and daily lives. I’m proud to have earned NAGE’s endorsement and will be a hardworking ally for working people in Congress.”
